5 Things To Consider Before Booking A Wedding Photo Booth

Photo Booth Near Me

So, you want to book a photo booth for your wedding. It’s a great way to add some fun to your special day and capture some amazing memories. But, before you book, there are a few things you should consider.

Firstly, you’ll want to decide on a style of photo booth. Do you want a classic booth with a curtain, or a modern open-air booth? This will depend on your budget and the look and feel you’re going for. You’ll also want to think about the size of the booth and how many people can fit in it.

Next, you’ll need to consider the features of the photo booth. Does it have a touchscreen, props, and a printer? Does it have a customisable background? What kind of prints does it offer? You’ll also want to make sure that the photo booth company offers a friendly and professional service.

When Should I Consider Hiring A Photo Booth?

When planning your wedding, it’s important to pay close attention to your timeline. One of the first things you should do is book a photo booth. It’s best to do this as soon as you’ve confirmed your venue, as some months are more popular than others for weddings. April, May, September and October are peak wedding season months and bookings can be made a year or more in advance. Frequently, we have several reservations on the same day, so it’s important to book early.

Most of the information we require will be confirmed when you reserve your photo booth. Then, 30 days before the wedding, a member of our staff will get in touch with you to talk through the last finer arrangements. This will include things like the type of backdrop, props and the number of prints you want. We will also discuss any special requests or customisations you may have.

30 days before your wedding we will confirm:

  • The style of your template
  • The props that you would like in particular (Including digital props)
  • The arrival and pack up times
  • The floor plan of your wedding, to ensure its positioned perfectly

Is the location I've chosen for my wedding suitable for a photo booth?

Including a photo booth in your event planning is a terrific way to make it memorable. When choosing a location for your photo booth, there will be a few important factors to take into account.

Space

The recommended space required for one of our photo booths is 3m x 3m, but we are able to work with smaller spaces. We are able to accommodate a variety of sizes. Our open photo booth design allows us to make the most of a small space, as our equipment, props, and backdrops are all quite compact. We recommend a 3m x 3m space to ensure that your guests have plenty of room to move around the photo booth comfortably

Power

We require one 240v powerpoint to be close to the photo booth. This helps to reduce any danger to your wedding guests and potential interruption to the photo booth. If the powerpoint is not close to the booth, we will bring a 1.5 metre extension cable along and will always tape all cables down with cloth tape to ensure safety.

Outdoor Weddings

If you would like to use our photo booth outside, the same rules apply. We require enough space to operate our photo booth comfortably and a consistent power supply. To ensure safety, the ground must be flat.  We will secure the cables safely to ensure your guests remain safe throughout the event.

How many hours should I Rent A Photo Booth For?

There is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to deciding how long to hire a photo booth for your wedding reception.

We advise booking the photo booth for 4 hours if your wedding will only have fewer than 200 attendees. Our most popular choice is this. This gives you excellent value for your money and gives you plenty of opportunity to take candid photos of all of your guests. Book for 5 hours to make sure that no one is left out if you have a larger gathering or if you anticipate that your guests will be total photo booth addicts.

Our busiest times for photo booth rentals are 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. (or 6pm to 11pm). This typically means that the photo booth is ready to go at the same time as the reception. There are, however, numerous other options. We began photo booth experiences following the reception and took breaks in our hire times.

How Do I Access The Photos?

The images from the photo booth can come in many formats this includes:

  • Printed photos
  • Digital photos
  • Animated GIFs
  • Boomerangs
Prints are still the popular option for wedding photography. We offer high quality photos and prints in a range of sizes, from 6”x4” prints to traditional 2″x6″ strip prints.

Digital photos, boomerangs and GIFs are continuing to becoming more and more popular, especially for couples who are tech-savvy or looking for an eco-friendly alternative. Digital files can be accessed by your guests instantly via SMS, Email or Airdrop.

all of our prints and digital memories can be kept and shared forever. Prints make great gifts for guests, while digital memories can be shared online and kept for years to come. With both options, you’ll have beautiful memories to cherish for a lifetime.

What Should I Look For When Choosing a Backdrop?

The backdrop for your wedding photos is an important aspect of the day. It can help to set the tone for your photos and create a distinct look.

Forever Photo Booths has a variety of backdrops to suit almost any event. Many of our customers have also chosen to use their venue as the backdrop. Unique and interesting walls, doors, and other features can provide a unique backdrop while saving money.

If you want us to set up outside, keep in mind that a fabric backdrop may only work against a solid surface. Wind can easily transform a fabric backdrop into a sail! Consider a solid backdrop, such as a green wall, hedge wall, or flower wall.
